I'm back for another review of Yowos! This time, I'm going to talk about bookshelves! My apartment is perfect for me, except when it comes to storing my ever-growing book collection. I’ve always loved books, but traditional bookshelves take up so much space that they can make even the most open rooms feel cramped. That’s why, honestly, I had to get creative. When I found Yowos and their rotating bookshelves, I felt like I’d discovered the perfect solution.
1) Yowos 6 Tiers Mid Century Narrow Rotating Bookcase
The first one I got was the 6 Tiers Mid Century Narrow Rotating Bookcase, and let me tell you, it’s a showstopper. It’s narrow but tall, so it doesn’t hog the floor, and it spins! I love being able to rotate it and access books on all sides. It makes me feel like I’ve got my own mini library at home. Even though it’s compact, it holds a surprising number of books. I mean, 1500 cubic inches of storage in something that barely takes up more than a square foot of floor space? That’s incredible.
I also think the walnut finish gives it this mid-century modern vibe that just elevates my whole living room. And since it’s made of bamboo, it feels sturdy but not heavy, which is ideal for apartment living. I love how it has rounded corners and looks pretty spectacular- like an art piece in the middle of your home. You can see how I styled it in my video below.
2) Yowos Rotating Bookshelf 360 Degree Storage Rack
The second bookshelf I picked up from Yowos was the Rotating Bookshelf 360 Degree Storage Rack, and honestly, this one might be my favorite. It’s taller than the round bookshelf above, and makes use of vertical space, which is such a game-changer in small apartments. I have all my fiction books on it, and every time I spin it around, I rediscover an old favorite I’d forgotten about. It’s practical and such a conversation starter whenever friends come over. Plus, it’s sleek and minimal, so it blends into my space without overwhelming it.
It's also easier to build than the first one, as it only took me about 20 minutes to put together, rather than 1 hour like the first one. I think this one is better for people with even smaller spaces- and a lot more books! I think the bamboo material blends in well with pretty much most spaces, and would suit a Japandi design.
What I love most about these 2 different types of rotating bookshelves is how much they’ve changed the way I use my space. I don’t feel like I have to sacrifice style or functionality to make my apartment work. They’re perfect for someone like me who wants a clean, uncluttered look without giving up their books. I also feel like the rotating feature is just genius. Instead of fumbling with stacks or awkwardly reaching for something at the back of a shelf, I can just spin it around. It’s fun and ridiculously convenient.
Styling these bookshelves has been half the fun. I like to mix my books with little decor pieces—maybe a small vase here or a photo frame there and a plant inside or on top of the shelves—to keep things visually interesting. Sometimes I even throw a trailing plant on top, just to add a touch of green. And at night, I’ve draped some fairy lights around one of them, which gives the room such a cozy vibe. I feel like these bookshelves have become more than just storage—they’re part of my home’s personality now.
Assembling the Yowos rotating bookshelves was surprisingly easy and actually kind of fun. Everything I needed came right in the box—tools, screws, and a clear, step-by-step manual that even a novice like me could follow. It only took me about an hour to put it all together, and honestly, it felt super satisfying to see it come to life piece by piece. The parts fit together perfectly, and the instructions were so straightforward that I never felt stuck or confused. Whether you’re a DIY pro or someone who’s never picked up a screwdriver, I think anyone could handle it effortlessly!
What really drew me to Yowos's shop is their philosophy. They believe your home should reflect who you are, and I feel that every time I look at these shelves. There’s something so thoughtful about the way they design their products. You can tell they care about quality and sustainability. The bamboo material is not only eco-friendly but also feels like a natural extension of the calming vibe I want in my space. And I think their craftsmanship is outstanding. Every detail, from the smooth rotation to the sleek finish, feels purposeful and built to last.
Honestly, if you’re struggling with storage solutions, I can’t recommend these enough. Yowos has nailed the balance between practicality and aesthetics. These rotating bookshelves are everything I wanted and more—stylish, space-saving, and incredibly fun to use. They’ve made my apartment feel more like home, and that’s the best part.
