Best Asian Luggage Brands in Hong Kong- NaDaSen review

Hey guys! I’m flying to Tokyo for my best friend’s wedding this weekend, and let me tell you—it’s going to be a weekend-long extravaganza. Of course, a weekend wedding in Japan means packing a lot of stuff, from wedding attire to souvenirs, and everything in between! So naturally, I needed new luggage, especially something that would hold up well while looking cute. That’s how I ended up with two beautiful new pieces from NaSaDen, a brand I’d been eyeing for a while.

Let me start with the reason I needed two suitcases. Japan is like a shopping wonderland, and I knew I’d be loading up on all sorts of goodies while I’m there—souvenirs, snacks, skincare, and probably some wedding-related trinkets. So, a large suitcase was a must. But I also didn’t want to be hauling that around on short trips, especially since Tokyo's public transportation can get crowded. Enter the NaSaDen 22-inch carry-on and the 29-inch checked luggage, which are basically my new travel BFFs.

A Little Bit About NaSaDen

NaSaDen is a luggage brand that just started selling in Hong Kong, and their luggage line is brilliant. They’ve really nailed the whole concept of an instagrammable/ dreamy travel. Each piece is designed to take the stress out of traveling—something I could definitely use more of! What I love most about NaSaDen is their attention to detail. Every piece of luggage goes through a strict quality check before it gets to the customer. They take pride in creating stylish, durable suitcases, and that vibe really shows.

The 22-Inch Carry-On (Blue Flowers Design)

I want to show you literally THE cutest suitcase that I've ever seen- the 22-inch carry-on with the Blue Flowers design. I mean, who wouldn’t want to stroll through the airport with a suitcase that’s basically a walking piece of art? I fell in love with the floral pattern at first sight—so girly and elegant, it just makes me feel happy every time I look at it. It definitely stands out from the crowd, which is perfect for me since I’ve had one too many mix-ups at baggage claim in the past.

The brand also has lots of different floral designs, in pink, orange and different colours so there's definitely something for you if you're not into this design.

At only 6.3 lbs (2.9 kg), this carry-on is super lightweight, which is such a blessing when you’re trying to shove it into overhead compartments. It’s the perfect size for short trips like this one, but still big enough to fit my essentials—think wedding makeup, skincare, and at least two extra pairs of shoes!

I also got the matching trolley bag that fits perfectly on top of the suitcase, giving me extra space for all the little things you end up needing on trips, like snacks and a good book. All in all, this carry-on is stylish and practical—exactly what I needed for my Tokyo adventure.

Now for the Big One: The 29-Inch Classic Camel Gold Suitcase

For the majority of my packing needs, I went with the 29-inch Classic Camel Gold suitcase. This one is a real beauty—sleek, modern, and a touch of luxury. It reminds me of Rimowa, but way more affordable. It’s made from a PC+ABS material, which gives it that perfect balance of lightness and strength.

Despite its size, it weighs only 10.5 lbs (4.8 kg), which is amazing because I don’t need any extra weight when I’m packing all my wedding outfits, gifts, and the inevitable shopping haul I’ll be bringing back.

One thing that totally sold me on this suitcase is that it passed a 90 cm falling test. I mean, who hasn’t watched their checked luggage get tossed around like it’s nothing? Knowing this suitcase can handle rough treatment definitely gives me peace of mind. Plus, the metal buckle is such a chic touch—it gives the luggage an elegant finish but also keeps everything securely fastened.

The inside is impressive. There are so many compartments! The double U-shaped multi-functional storage lining is a total lifesaver for organising everything. There’s even a hidden waterproof inner bag—perfect for keeping any liquids safe and away from my clothes. The lining itself has this silky texture that feels high-quality, which adds a little bit of luxury to the whole packing experience.

Features I Can’t Get Enough Of

Both of these NaSaDen suitcases are packed with features that make them worth buying (not that they're pricey anyway- they're very affordable). Here are a few of my favourite features:

  • TSA-certified locks: No more worrying about airport security cutting through my locks. I can lock my stuff up and still make it through customs smoothly.
  • 360-degree ultra-quiet wheels: They glide effortlessly and quietly, which is a big deal when you’re rushing through the airport or down those smooth Tokyo streets.
  • Aluminum alloy tie rod: It feels sturdy, and I love that it’s double-tubed, so I know it won’t wobble while I’m pulling it around.
  • PU elastic handle: Super comfy to hold, even when the suitcase is fully loaded.

The Shopping Experience

I have to say, shopping from NaSaDen was such a breeze. Right now, they’re offering free shipping for group purchases in Hong Kong, which is a steal!

It took about 7-14 working days for my luggage to arrive since they were in stock, and everything was packaged securely. If you're pre-ordering a style, just be sure to account for a bit more time. Either way, it’s worth the wait!

I’m honestly thrilled with my new NaSaDen luggage. They’re not only practical but also incredibly stylish, and they’ve made packing for this wedding so much more fun. If you’re in Hong Kong and looking for high-quality, cute luggage, I highly recommend giving NaSaDen a try!

Note- you get a discount of NTD 500 for purchases over NTD 5000!
