Why Vintage Burberry Scarves Rock- Vintagemore Review

I am not really a luxury brands kinda girl. If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know that I love featuring small-scaled Etsy brands and lesser-known quality sites. But I do confess I love the brand Burberry. Their items are classic, timeless and extremely good quality. I just can't get enough of the nova check pattern, the brown and neutral tones of their palette and of course, their trench coats! However, I've never quite been able to afford an actual Burberry item. I've always wanted one, so I turned onto the secondhand market and discovered a whole new world of vintage luxury products. 

Shops such as Vintageroom (an awesome Etsy shop that sells- you guessed it- vintage branded goods) usually sell designer products for a fraction of the price. They also sell great vintage pieces from brands such as Gucci, Chanel and Burberry which have been out of production for a long time. I really love shopping for vintage luxury brands on Etsy because the prices are cheaper, and the styles are usually more unique than the current model in the stores. 

I got this lovely pink vintage Burberry checked scarf from Vintageroom on Etsy, and it arrived after a few weeks. Shipping was fast, efficient and amazing. I love this shop because everything went super smoothly from start to finish. Take a look below at my amazing vintage scarf! 

Vintage Burberry scarves rock because of several reasons. First, they come at a fraction of the original price. This means that for students like myself, you can get something for much cheaper of a price than what you'd pay in the high street. The quality is completely the same though! Secondly, vintage pieces are usually cooler and more stylish than normal pieces because you get that "lived in" feeling of wearing something that has a little more history and depth than normal pieces. You also feel like the item is good enough to last for years, which personally gives me more satisfaction than buying something brand new! 

Finally, vintage Burberry scarves are often just as warm and comfortable as new pieces. In fact, I think vintage scarves are sometimes better made than modern scarves because things back then were simply made to last longer. Vintageroom's selection of scarves are impressive and they have items lasting back from the 1990s to now. I love their range and their quality is simply amazing. The scarf that I got is extremely well preserved and has no flaw. I gave it a little wash after getting it and it was as good as new!
