Best Vintage Shops in the UK- Shop Paris Texas Review

I have to be honest- lately, I've been on the hunt for some of the best vintage clothing shop in the UK. I've tried kilo sales, physical sales and Brick Lane in London (literally the most famous place to shop for vintage in London) but these shops are often time-consuming, tedious and just takes too long to look through. Enter the wonderful world of Etsy and their vintage shops- such as Shop Paris Texas which essentially sells a curated range of vintage clothes that you can access through your digital device.  

A bit about the brand- Shop Paris Texas is a lovely vintage shop owned by Jane who sells some of the most gorgeous and affordable vintage clothing that I've ver seen. She has a lovely collection of gorgeous vintage clothing for men and women, and best of all her prices are much more affordable than those vintage shops you see on the high street. 

Now, vintage clothing shopping is tricky. First, you have to find the right size and shape. Some sellers don't put enough information about their clothes's sizing on their item descriptions. This makes it incredibly difficult to find the right fit and cut. This brand, however, makes sure that all their descriptions include exact garment measurements which is super helpful for someone like me who is in-between sizes. I got this lovely Thomas Burberry military jacket from the brand for about 28 pounds, which is totally a steal! Take a look below! 

I'm pleased with my jacket's quality and versatility. This beautiful coat is made from cotton and cuprous, which is comfortable and breathable. In terms of quality, the jacket is one of the best that I've ever owned as it's light and comfortable, and nothing like those thin ones I see in the shops these days.  Thomas Burberry usually retails for a lot more than 28 pounds, and the best thing about shopping vintage is that you can get brands at a fraction of what the original buyer paid for. 

Shopping for vintage clothing on Etsy has it's benefits. First, it is much easier to find the exact brand and style you want as you can type in key words which filter out searches. This means that the item you want will appear exactly in your Etsy finds. Second, it is much easier to determine the quality of the garment online as sellers usually have many photos of the item. Lastly, Etsy is such a wonderful treasure trove of items which means you simply save a lot of time in order to find your dream piece. I really think Shop Paris Texas has some of the best vintage finds you can get, and I'm a huge fan of their beautiful, aesthetic photos. 

Overall, I'm so happy to finally be able to write about one of my favourite wardrobe pieces of this year. I've been eager to get myself a lovely jacket for the cooler months, and this Shop Paris Texas piece really hits the perfect balance between cute and stylish. Plus, I'm a lover of vintage clothing, so this is lovely jacket is definitely going to be one of my most-worn pieces ever. I got lots of compliments when I first wore this item out!

Overall, I'm highly impressed with Shop Paris Texas and their impeccable vintage items. The brand recently listed many new items in their shop from brands like Guy Curtis, Ralph Lauren and more which are all fitting, beautiful and stylish.
