Best Anti-Insect Pyjamas For Travelling- We Drifters Review

As a person who loves travelling, I've always wanted to find a pair of pyjamas that was breathable, insect-repellent and lightweight. It's really difficult to find something comfortable and able to withstand the humid weather of places like Thailand or Cambodia, when I'm travelling to foreign places. Today I want to talk about We Drifters, a lovely brand that I recently discovered who produces some of the most awesome, traveller-friendly pyjamas in the world. 

I got their signature Anti-Insect Sleepwear set which was made from a lightweight bamboo fabric infused with treatment to keep 90% of insects away, including mosquitoes, midges, and ticks. This means that the set is literally perfect for travellers going to humid or tropical countries, and great for backpackers and students too. At first, I thought that it would smell because mosquito repellent usually carries a strong odour. I was so surprised to find that there's absolutely no smell in this pyjama set. The treatment is invisible and odourless, with no unpleasant feel or effect to the fabric which means that it's very comfortable to wear. As you can see, the set looks and feels beautiful. It comes with a pair of socks and a pillowcase which means that even if you're camping or in a hostel you will be able to make yourself comfortable and insect bite-free. The set itself is pretty cool- it features a button-front top which closes at the neck to keep insects away from your chest. The pair of trousers is elasticated which means that it's very comfortable and contains zip pockets for you to put belongings safely when you are sleeping. The top comes with thumbholes which protects your vulnerable wrists from any bites and wind. 

I love how comfortable the material is as the set is made from breathable, lightweight bamboo which feels weightless and airy. Bamboo is a great material to wear to sleep as it's extremely soft and comfortable. It also washes well and dries easily. I bought it to my recent holiday in Budapest and wore them all night without any discomfort. They also prevented insect bites and was just an invaluable addition to my night. Best of all, everything fits into a compact travel bag which also converts into a pillowcase! Talk about convenience! 

The sizing is a little difficult as the set is unisex, which means that women have to choose smaller sizes in order to get a proper fit. I personally chose an XS even though I'm a UK size 10. It fits like a gem. I would highly recommend getting in touch with the brand if you're unsure about sizes. I can't recommend these pyjamas enough if you're into travelling and need something to improve the quality of your sleep!
