The Most Gorgeous Silk Top A Girl Can Own- Kalangita Review

 Ever wanted to wear a halter-neck cross-front wrap silk top? I've always wondered what it will look like on me, so I recently purchased a cute top from Kalangita, a cool Etsy boutique which stocks lots of trendy and chic silk items. They've got all the latest trends, as they constantly update their stock. The shop is pretty amazing and I'm honestly amazed at the item that I got. Here's my detailed review of one of their sleeveless halter neck blouses. 

A bit about the brand- Kalangita is a German-based Etsy shop which offers handmade clothes made of silk and wool for women. What's special about them is their manufacturing process- the brand produces colourful and pretty clothing that is also very ecological, sustainable, without chemicals and only with natural materials such as silk, wool and plants for dyeing. Also, you can customise your clothing completely, as the owner can make your custom design. She's so talented, and all you have to do is contact her for a design, and no two pieces are alike since it's all made by hand! 

I got this customised halter-neck silk wrap top which was from another top I sent to the owner. She really liked the design and wanted to try to make it. I didn't know that it was possible to customise designs, so I was really excited! The owner really takes a lot of care in designing and making each piece of clothing, as she sent me a template for the top as well as shared her beautiful sketches with me. She is simply amazing! 

After a 2-3 week wait, the item was delivered to me speedily and in perfect condition. This elegant piece isn't just for formal outfits, but it can also be layered underneath a jacket and worn by itself for a casual, put-together look for the daytime or for work. However, it's also great for casual days in, as it's silky soft and very comfortable. Take a look below! 

As you can see, I styled this lovely halter neck top with a pair of jeans and boots, as this gave off a cool 90s vibe. I wanted to wear it with something casual to show you that it can be worn in many different ways and styles.

Kalangita sells clothing that comes in various other colors, including black, red, yellow and green. Kalangita supplies these tops in these colours because they're easy to match with other items of clothing such as skirts and trousers.  I love how vibrant the rosewood beige top is, as it's super versatile and easy to match with pretty much any item in your closet. 

In terms of the quality, the tops are made from 100% silk which is very luxurious and comfortable to wear. What's good about silk is that it is completely natural and durable, and extremely breathable too. It has a cooling effect, which means that you won't get too warm at night. It also feels extremely comfortable, though I'd recommend going a size up if you're in-between sizes. The silk is a thick weave so it feels quite substantial and durable, and won't crease too much as it drapes around your body. They're so comfortable and made extremely well!

I love the feel of this pure 100% silk shirt. It turned out to be super chic and cozy, and super comfortable too as it's just the right fit, not too loose or tight. Silk has a naturally flowy texture which is perfect for blouses such as these. It's also slightly sexy, especially when paired with a skirt. Length-wise, I'm 168cm tall and this top falls just above my hips- in the right place. 

The fitting is perfect as it is a size Small and I’m a Small too. It’s wonderful and not too tight, and goes well with a skirt or a pair of shorts. It’s so elegant and the color is wonderful. I’ve hit the jackpot with this piece of clothing! I am super happy with it for sure. 

As for the design, this halter neck top is absolutely lovely as it looks exactly like the ASOS one that I sent the owner. This top is easy to wear and very elegant because there's a gentle billowy effect at the bottom of the top. The top is absolutely stunning, and has a flattering neckline and cut in the front and the back. The button at the back is gorgeous and easy to do up, so this top is truly something I'll keep for the rest of my life. 

I adore Kalangita and this wonderful halter-neck silk top is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. I didn't know what to expect as I have never gotten a silk top made for me before. I’ve never worn a silk halter neck top before. This item arrived after around 15 days, and it was the most wonderful blouse that I’ve ever seen. 

In terms of the quality, this top is amazing as it’s made from pure dyed silk. I think it’s absolutely stunning and wonderful and the sizing is perfect. I have to handwash this item but I think it will be worth every effort as it’s definitely something that will make heads turn when you wear it out. 

Overall, I'm so happy with this customised silk top from Kalangita. The brand sells another type of silk strappy top which has a higher cowl neck as well as dresses and tops that suit women of all shapes and sizes. They sell some of the best quality silk clothing that I've ever seen and their prices are super affordable too, so I'd highly recommend that you check them out now!
