I want to talk about shipping. So my jacket came within about 2 weeks of ordering which is incredibly fast since I was in Hong Kong. Most things take around 16 days to arrive though. It came in a lovely packet, which was really affordable and worth it for most items.
My order contained this amazing Black PU Down Jacket - this came in the mail really fast, and when I opened it I was met with a lovely surprise. The jacket has a water-resistant outer coating and an elasticated hem, which means that it's extremely durable and suitable for hiking, outdoor activities and the winter cold. What I love most about the down jacket is that it also has a beautiful zip at the front, which means that the zipper can be adjusted from the bottom and top. It's perfect for when you want to loosen up the jacket from the bottom, when you're moving about to give yourself more room.
As for the quality, the jacket is outstanding and beautifully made. The fabric feels warm and waterproof, as well as soft on the skin too. I adore this jacket since it's super warm for the winter, and would make a great piece for layering over a thicker waterproof jacket or simply on it's own if you live in a warmer climate.
The coat itself is also flattering and lovely to wear - it definitely has a slim, tailored cut which gives it an extra level of sophistication when you're wearing the jacket just on its own. This staple piece can withstand the test of time, since it has a classic silhouette featuring a flattering waist-cinching shape and side pockets to accentuate the silhouette. It looks like a coat that Kim Kardashian would wear on a ski trip, and I'm absolutely loving the design!
The jacket's quality is excellent - it is made from real goose down and a PU exterior, which feels lovely, buttery and smooth. In fact, the down stuffing quality matches some of the high end shops that I find in the UK, though this was of course made in China.
The best thing about Verybuy is that they actually show items from different sellers all across the world, including T-Mall, Tao Bao and other Asian sites, which means that you can actually read reviews about what other people have said before buying your item. This item retails for less on TMall, but the actual price is much higher. So you're in fact saving lots of money buying from VeryBuy.
As for the design, I've received so many compliments for this down jacket as it's flashy, chic and bold. The old Zara down jackets that I have all break really easily. They get rough, peel off and look bad after a few months of wear. Real down jackets, on the other hand, look stunning with age. This jacket's zips were really well made and feels super sturdy and tough. The biker jacket was in a Size M, which fits me perfectly as it's in Asian sizing and I am 168 cm tall.
Overall, I'm really impressed with my experience from Verybuy. I've always been a bit wary of shopping online but this site really feels secure and guarantees a great shopping experience. I've also finally got my winter present- one for myself!
