How To Keep Warm With Merino Layers- Isobaa Review

I'm trying to transition into a more natural and sustainable wardrobe because of the benefits it can give to my skin. Did you know that wearing polyester clothing is harmful to your health? Regardless, I want to talk about my new favourite shop- Isobaa, a lovely brand that sells merino wool clothing for men and women. They have really inspired me to wear more natural clothes and taught me that sustainable clothing doesn't have to be frumpy or out of style.

A bit about the brand- Isobaa's founders were motivated by a love of nature and the need for functioning, luxurious yet beautiful clothing. Originating in London, UK, the founders were always escaping the city to find adventures beyond the everyday hustle and bustle. They realised that what they really wanted was clothing that would be suitable for the great outdoors, and fell in love with merino wool because of it's magical and wonderful properties. All of their merino wool are sourced in Australia where the best quality threads (and sheep) are produced.

So why should we choose merino wool clothing? Merino Wool clothing are the latest trend for guys or girls who like to travel, because of their unique physical properties. Merino wool is absorbent, light, extremely thin, durable and also keeps you cool during the day and warm at night. In fact, merino wool is a favourite for travellers because it never absorbs odours from your body, so you can wear merino wool clothing all day without the shirt feeling sticky or wet. Merino keeps you warm when it's cold and breathes well when it's warm, keeping you comfortable whatever the weather. 1) Womens Merino Crew Sweater - this beautiful sweater is one of my favourite items from Isobaa. This sweater is extremely well-designed, featuring a navy blue body and bright orange sleeves, giving it a stylish and chic look. It's also quite flattering on the body as it has an A-line shape, which makes your silhouette look leaner. I love the comfort and fit of the piece as I got a size Small, and there was plenty of room for me to layer something underneath. It wasn't too tight or too loose, and would be suitable for casual days at the office or for walks during the winter.

I love the quality- the jumper is soft, not heavy and perfectly made. It doesn't feel itchy or scratchy at all. In fact, the wool is as smooth and fine as it gets. The navy blue colour is also super cool, and matches with pretty much anything in a girl's wardrobe. Everything's stitched on perfectly and there's not a single loose thread. It would be lovely for women of all ages, and would make an excellent present for your mother, girlfriend or sister. Isobaa's quality is fantastic and everything's manufactured to perfection.

2) Womens Merino 150 Short Sleeve Crew- this gorgeous functional black t-shirt that I got from Isobaa impressed me a lot. This versatile tee really impressed me as it is extremely fine and made from high-quality materials. I found that this tee pairs well with anything in my closet, and it is quite classic in design so I can wear this tee with my casual outfits. As for the details, the top features a high neckline which protects your chest from the cold winds, and is slim-fitting so it nips and tucks at all the right places. This tee is particularly flattering for girls who have athletic bodies, as it would enhance the shoulder and arm area!

A cool way to style a merino wool top is tucked in to a skirt- when you pair it with some heels and a jacket, it will look amazing. Another way is to style it with a cool pair of trousers and some white trainers, for a more "street-style" look. It's so versatile that everyone really needs to try these Isobaa shirts!

3) Womens Merino 200 Tights-  I've never worn woollen leggings before and expected it to be tight, uncomfortable and hot. However, these lovely Isobaa merino wool leggings are the absolute opposite- they are warm, lightweight and totally opaque. I'm surprised at how stretchy they are too, as wool seems to naturally contain stretch which is useful for exercising and walking about. I adore the fit of these leggings as they're not too long or short, and fits just right at my ankles. The black colour of the legging means that it's not transparent, and I can wear this out with casual clothing like leather jackets or tops.

Overall, I absolutely love all of Isobaa's designs, and their other items (such as tees, long sleeves and shorts) are basic wardrobe essentials that every girl needs.
