Braided Beauty - Danceweaver Creations Review

Hi everyone! It's been nearly 3 months since I've started on my exercise routine and I'm loving all of the new workouts that I've been able to try. I recently started taking dance classes and Zumba in my local gym and have been loving it so much! Not only does the classes improve your flexibility, it also helps get those muscles working and I feel invigorated after each session.

Now, I want to introduce to you one of my favourite shops that sells dance clothing for women. The shop is called Danceweaver Creations, which sells some of the loveliest hand-braided dance clothing that I've ever seen. A bit about the brand- founded by Jeannie Lin, the brand stocks t-shirts, tank tops, bodysuits, leggings and long-sleeved tops that are braided by hand. This unique process means that every item is a little bit different, and they all create an optical illusion on the person wearing the clothing. To me, their styles represent "wearable art" and I am in love with their whole range of clothing.

I am lucky enough to be able to review two pieces of clothing from the brand. First, I got this gorgeous, ankle-length Capri Leggings for women in charcoal grey. This gorgeous piece is made from cotton and spandex, giving it a stretchy and comfortable texture which is perfect for exercising, dancing and moving.

As for the quality and design, the leggings are not high-waisted, so they sit at the hips level. I got a size Large and it fits me perfectly. It is ruched at the sides, so it's not the longest of leggings. However, I love the length as it's suitable for yoga, pilates and running. They really flatter any type of body shape and carries a slimming effect on the body.

I love the cotton fabric that Danceweaver used to make this pair of leggings. The leggings are super stretchy but soft at the same time, which means that I can wear it for my daily yoga class without any discomfort. I'm really sure that wearing natural leggings are the way to go, since I have sensitive skin that doesn't deal with artificial materials well. These leggings keep me looking stylish, comfortable and cute at the same time!

The second item that I got is this gorgeous Fairy Pixie Braided Top- this bohemian, artsy t-shirt is no ordinary shirt for it is hand-braided at the front and back. The front is subtle, as there is a little braid across the v-neck design and nothing more, so it isn't too revealing or hard to wear. I adore the front braided detailing too, as it's cute and flirty! However, the shirt impresses at the back, as it features a unique, jaw-dropping wing design woven to the back.

I love the detailing of this piece, as the weaving is spot-on and looks really elegant and luxurious. It also gives off a subtly sexy vibe which is perfect for girls who are into pole dancing or other exercises that emphasis sensuality and femininity. The top is perfect for festivals or dance, or simply lounging around as it's super comfortable and soft. It's made from cotton which is breathable, natural and stretchy.

The top can be worn with a bra, so you can get extra support if you have a larger chest. For me, I found that the v-neck top was enough to give me the support that I needed even without wearing anything underneath. The length of the lovely top hits at around the hips area, which is nice as it isn't too short or too long. This cute and airy top is simply perfect for light-impact workouts such as dancing, stretches, weights and light cardio.

Overall, I'me extremely happy with these two pieces of dance and exercise clothing, as they are impeccably designed and made with care. The quality is outstanding and the design, feel and effect of this top is on point. The leggings got me a lot of compliments at my yoga classes, and wearing it definitely keeps me motivated during exercise. I cannot recommend Danceweaver Creations more!
