My Favourite Clothing For Relaxation- Menique Review

A merino wool sweater is a must-have for every women out there. It's versatile, it's chic and effortlessly stylish. A sweater is also essential for the cooler months, and can be worn indoors during the summer as we all know that sometimes it gets chilly at night. As a supporter of European-made clothing, I want to talking about my new two-piece matching set from Menique, a luxurious, merino wool label on Etsy that specialises in Lithuanian-made clothing for men and women.

A bit about Menique- founded in 2015 by a small group of people passionate about merino wool, the brand specialises in supplying form-fitting, beautiful and functional pieces for men and women. Their mission is to create garments that can be worn at play, work and during exercise. The brand designs organic, breathable clothing that are comfortable, natural, as well as aesthetic, and everything is 100% made in Lithuania which means that the local economy is supported. Their slogan, "The Heart of Comfort” shows all these important thing for them and their customers.

I recently purchased a lovely Denim Merino Se 160 Long Sleeve Set from Menique and it is absolutely gorgeous. Firstly, a note about the quality. Menique's knitwear collection is extremely high-quality and the fabric of the long sleeve set is just amazing. It feels very thin and crisp, but it is really warm when I put the items on. It's also not see-through like so many other merino wool garments that I've previously owned.

As part of Menique's iconic range, this two piece set is made from a 160 lightweight merino knit. Featuring a breathable and lightweight merino wool, this set is excellent for travelling or moving around as it does not weigh down on your body when you wear it. Merino Wool fabric is also perfect for yoga, so for exercise fans like myself, it's pretty versatile and perfect for getting active!

In terms of the design and fit of the long sleeve set, the scoop-neck design is really flattering and makes my broad shoulders look narrower. I chose this design because a scoop-neck top is really versatile and can match with skirts, trousers and pretty much any overcoat that you have in your wardrobe. All of Menique's clothing are flattering and they come in different cuts- t-shirts are tighter and more form-fitting; long sleeve tops and tank tops are loose but they can look chic and elegant as they fit pretty well over your body. I really love how it comes in different colors too, as I chose a gorgeous denim blue set here which stands out from the crowd.

I also love the fit of the items, in particular the merino wool leggings. I've never worn woollen leggings before and expected it to be tight, uncomfortable and hot. However, merino wool leggings are the absolute opposite- they are warm, lightweight and totally opaque. I'm surprised at how stretchy they are too, as wool seems to naturally contain stretch which is useful for exercising and walking about. I adore the fit of these leggings as they're not too long or short, and fits just right at my ankles.

I absolutely love all of their designs, and their other items (such as tees, long sleeves and tank tops) are basic wardrobe essentials that every girl needs. A cool way to style a merino wool top is tucked in to a skirt- when you pair it with some heels and a jacket, it will look amazing. Another way is to style it with a cool pair of trousers and some white trainers, for a more "street-style" look.

Overall, these Menique garments are extremely comfortable and some of the most versatile pieces in my wardrobe. I think that Menique is a great choice for people who love getting active, supporting the environment and just want some impeccable, stylish and exquisite clothing that will keep you warm at all times of the year!
