Ever since I was a child, I've been wearing glasses to correct my vision. It's always hard to find the right pair of glasses frames- are they too small? Too large? Or just too old-fashioned? I've been looking for the perfect pair of glasses for a long time, and today I am going to talk about where I got my pair of glasses, how it was made and show you some pictures of my spectacles. I recently got a pair of new glasses from Banton Frameworks, one of the most amazing and affordable glasses brand that I've ever seen. They're unlike any other frames that I've ever had, so read on and find out!
A bit about the brand- Banton Frameworks makes all their glasses frames by hand in the UK. With all these glasses frames made in China and Europe, it's rare to find a local brand that manufactures their own frames. Banton Frameworks is founded by Lucy Ross and Jamie Bartlett, who started making glasses frames during their final year university project. They're dedicated to making stylish, high-quality glasses frames that stand out from the crowd, look stylish and are super practical at the same time. They make sunglasses as well as optical glasses, so they have a really large range of frames for you to choose from.
I recently got a pair of glasses with the D-TRT frame- these frames are round and feature a tortoiseshell pattern, which gives it a vintage and chic look. I love these because they fit my face shape, and they're pretty versatile for any occasion. I love the colour too- they're dark brown and black, which gives it a rather unique vibe. Banton Frameworks will fit any prescription lenses required in your glasses- all you have to do is send in your prescriptions and they'll do the rest. It's very convenient and easy to order a pair of frames.
My frames arrived after about 1.5 weeks of sending in my prescriptions. They came in a lovely black case equipped with a cleaning cloth, and I was so surprised when I opened the package. The glasses are absolutely lovely and stunning, and looks impeccably made. Jamie, the founder, told me that he made these glasses by hand which added a personal touch to the frames. It's hard to find a shop that makes frames by hand- many modern frames are made using 3-D printing or quick technology, but Banton Frameworks manages to use a traditional method of manufacturing and combined it with their distinct style.
As for my glasses, they fit me really well and looks stunning on. I'm not joking- they make me look very stylish and fun and I love how they fit on my face. They sit just right, and the size of the frames are perfect. I'm in love with the rose gold temple arms on the glasses as this is a distinct feature of Banton Framework's glasses. They compliment the brown colour of the frames so well, and they're also hypoallergenic so it won't irritate your skin. The glasses are fixed with stainless steel rivets with five barrel hinges, so they're sturdy, durable and strong. The glasses itself is simply a piece of art!
As for the quality and materials, the frames are beautifully made with Italian acetate and I could tell that this could last me for many years to come. This is truly a luxurious item that any man or woman should have in their inventory. The acetate is smooth and wonderfully polished, and the temples are tightly screwed on so they're not going to break when you put pressure on it. I wore it out on the street and got lots of compliments on it, so it definitely stands out from the crowd in a good way!
Overall, Banton Frameworks makes some of the best frames that I've ever seen. Their meticulous craftsmanship, impeccable designs and easy-to-use website means that I'm a huge fan of their glasses. I'd highly recommend them if you ever need a pair of handmade glasses which can last you for years to come.
