How To Have An Eco-friendly Period - Cocoro Review

Hey girls! Today I want to do a special review on Cocoro, a lovely period underwear shop that sells hassel-free, leak-proof period underwear that you can substitute your tampons or pads with. Now, you might be thinking, how does this work? Is it magic? 

It's really simple- thanks to the use of three types of fabrics, Cocoro panties absorb menstruation, vaginal discharge and urine. You can use them alone or in combination with pads, tampons or a menstrual cup. Cocoro's period underwear absorbs many tampons' worth of blood, so it basically replaces your pads or tampons and you can go free of any hassel. You can simply wear these panties, and the absorbent fabric will do the work for you. It's leak-proof and odour-resistant, so it won't smell or leak throughout the day. All you have to do is wash the underwear after using it, hang it and let it dry. It's all good to be re-used! 

I got two lovely pairs of underwear and want to show you the amazing designs and talk about how I use them, whether they work and what I think of these innovative, eco-friendly period underwear. 

The first pair of panties that I got are the Cocoro Classic Vera Bordeaux briefs . This pair of underwear is designed with a nice lovely elastic band at the top, which is stylish and chic. It comes in a lovely mid-waisted style so it won't fall down or feel flimsy. The style of the underwear is quite sturdy and strong, as it gives a lot of support to your hips during your period. It won't fall off during the day, or anything like it, even though it may look bigger when you first open your parcel.

The second pair that I got are even more beautiful - these Classic Aran underwear look like luxurious high-end underwear, only they're period panties which do the job really well! Again the underwear is really well made, and is composed of 80% cotton and 20% elastane, which does the job well. I've been thinking about how damaging it is to use period pads, as they don't decompose and they aren't biodegradable. These period panties sure are comfortable and environmentally friendly, as I don't have to use pads anymore.

I tried these 2 panties on during my period last week, and it was amazing. I didn't have to wear pads, though I actually have light periods so I didn't feel any different when I was wearing the underwear. They absorbed everything and was quite comfortable, and odour-free too so nothing smells. I am really impressed with the quality and performance of this product! They're also so beautiful, so no one knew that they were special underwear. In fact, they look so good and cute that it makes me happy to wear them!
