I'm a huge fan of sustainable fashion- it's ethical, renewable and helps save the planet. I want to talk about Vildnis, a lovely brand that has strong Scandinavian roots but combines the simple grace of Scandinavian fashion with a more modern, London twist. Founded by Ulla Vitting Richards, the brand is one of the coolest and trending brands that I've seen, so do read on for a little review!
A bit about the brand- Vildnis is a brand that sells minimalist, simple and unique clothing and made from ethical and sustainable fabrics. In this day and age, slow fashion is hard to come by, but Vildnis Karellas strives to provide high-quality, luxurious clothing and knitwear for the everyday woman. The brand uses sustainable fabrics from factories that would otherwise have gone to waste, and they lovingly makes every single piece of their collection with care. Talk about quality and dedication to an organic, sustainable lifestyle!
I got two lovely items from the brand, and they arrived quickly on my doorstep all wrapped up and beautifully presented. Take a look below!
Firstly, I got their gorgeous Atacama Knit Jumper, which is a lovely dark grey jumper made from 100% organic linen. This jumper caught my attention because it was an unusual color- grey isn't usually this unique but this jumper is a little sheer, a little sexy and definitely stylish. I love the design of the jumper, as relaxed-fit and long sleeve design makes this jumper extremely unique and stylish. It reminds me of something a model would wear in London Fashion Week, and it can be yours for a very reasonable price!
The quality is excellent and you can see that care has been taken to stitch the jumper and make sure everything fits well. The most interesting thing about this is the material- organic linen is grown using rainwater for irrigation only and without any chemical fertilisers, pesticides or insecticides, so it's completely green and ethical. Vildnis uses a lot of recycled and organic materials, so they're better for your skin too. I'm in love with this jumper!
Secondly, I got this Jinhae Knit Jumper in black, which looked extremely elegant and stylish against the colour of my white tweed skirt. I paired it with a skirt since I thought it looked cozy and chic, with a slightly oversized and slouchy feel. I love the oversized look as it looks extra stylish without too much effort. It's really cold in the UK so a merino wool jumper is just what I needed.
This jumper is made from recycled merino wool, which means that again you save the planet by purchasing this item. The fabric comes from recycling the highest quality of merino wool yarn from Italy. Its flattering with a V-neck, which looks lovely when tucked in, and I'm so pleased with this gorgeous high-quality jumper!
Overall, I'm extremely happy with my Vildnis haul, and I am sure you'll love this brand. Please visit their website to check out their latest range of luxurious, gorgeous and ethical fashion!
