It's nearly exam season and what better gift to give a student than… notebooks and diaries? I'm obsessed with stationery and writing, and I recently discovered this amazing, traditional brand called Collins Debden. They are a UK-based brand that sells a variety of notebooks, organisers, diaries and stationery that are extremely student and office-friendly.
A bit about the brand- Collins Debden is renowned over the world for its high quality notebook and accessories products. They are a brand with a lot of history- with over 200 years' experience in the industry, they produce some of the finest notebooks and diaries that I've ever seen. The brand also aim to be at the forefront of product innovations, ensuring that customers receive the latest products and designs before anyone else.
I'm going to talk about what I got from the shop and what I think of them. Take a look at some of my photos below!
1) Collins Padfolio with A4 Wiro Notepad- this padfolio is perfect for university students as it's got a lovely firm outer, with inner pockets in the sleeve and a lot of lovely areas for you to put cards, pens and little pieces of paper. This is great for people like me who attend lectures and conferences, as it's got everything you need to write, take notes and store bits of information. I love the colour of the exterior sleeve too, as the bright red outshines anything else that I've got. The quality of this notepad is excellent and I can replace the insides with other notebooks when it is used up.
2) Metropolitan B6 Melbourne Notebook- this little B6 notebook is sturdy and compact. The size makes it fit into any bag easily, and the design of this glamorous, luxurious notebook is second-to-none. I love the colors of the exterior, and the papers are of excellent quality. It's creamy, not see-through and doesn't bleed when I write on it, unlike the other cheap notebooks that I can find in the local store. I love their Metropolitan line as they're perfect for city students like me.
3) Legacy A4 Soft Touch Notebook- I adore soft-touch notebooks as the exterior is sort of like leather, only softer and more cushiony. I love the outer layer as it's soft, smooth and feels stable. I can take notes all day with this notebook without feeling like it will break under my weight! The Legacy line is new, so all of the Collins notebooks are well-designed, high-quality and outstanding.
4) Collins Ideal A4 Feint Ruled Notebook- this is another staple for humanities students like me who write a lot of notes. I can practise writing essays in these lovely notebooks. The ruled aspect of this means that I don't have to draw margins, which is useful when I do problem questions or write essays. It's a lovely basic notebook for all ages!
5) Collins Legacy A5 Diary Day to a Page- my favourite item from my haul, this gorgeous purple notebook is happy, beautiful and fun. It's playful as it comes in candy-colored shades, and I love the fact that you get a page for each day of the year. Mine's for 2019, and I can't wait to fill it with my life.
Overall, I really loved the notebooks and diaries that I got from Collins. They're an amazing brand with a lot of heritage and class, and their notebooks are definitely essentials for university students across the world. With these goodies, I'm ready to learn, write and do everything I can to prepare for my upcoming courses.
