Now, without further ado, here is my honest review of Holistic Silk and their lovely items!
The first two items that I want to talk about are 1) the Anti-aging eye mask and 2) Pure Silk Scrunchie. The eye mask is gorgeous and beautifully made, with impeccable detail and stitching. The eye mask is made from 100% silk, which weighs 22 momme and is quite sturdy and strong. This eye mask prevents pull by having a soft back tie ribbon, which doesn't pull or tug across the back of your head. I've always loved using eye masks to sleep as it blocks out light, but this eye mask is definitely the best eye mask that I've ever seen!
The quality and design of the eye mask is excellent. The design features a long nose ridge in the middle, with a lavender scent to calm down the nerves and make for better sleep. The eye mask that I got is cream but still blocks out the light effectively, as it's completely opaque. This mask is clearly designed ergonomically as it is meant to create a light-blocking effect. I tried it on for a few nights and I have to say, I've had some of the best sleep ever! The mask comes in a variety of different prints and colors, and they'd make great gifts for men and women alike.
As for the scrunchie, I've longed for something that won't pull on my hair too much when tied. My hair is easily damaged and falls out easily, and I'm really worried about losing all my hair! However, this pure silk scrunchie makes sure that my hair doesn't snag or catch, and it really improves the condition of my hair by a lot. If you're looking to improve your beauty regime, I'd highly recommend getting yourself a silk scrunchie!
Finally, I also got this lovely Pure Silk Pillowcase from Holistic Silk. This case is really beautiful and distinct from other pillowcases because it is more meticulously made. It's made from a 22 momme weight silk, which is quite heavy and thick. However, what makes this case stand out from the others that I have seen is that it has a lovely side lining which is darker and rolled. It's so gorgeous! It reminds me of the edges of expensive silk scarves.
This beautiful pillowcase has immense benefits for your skin and hair, as it is hypoallergenic, 100% natural and also contains Sericin which mirrors the protein structure of hair, which means hair is protected as it glides over Silk ensuring it is frizz free in the morning. Satin doesn't absorb your night creams unlike cotton or plastics. On the contrary, it helps to absorb and retain these throughout the night, leaving skin hydrated and nourished and hair silky smooth! I've definitely noticed my skin's smoothness increase after sleeping on it for a week now.
