I've always loved ballet flats as they're comfortable, girly and cute. However, I've always struggled to find a place that sells them for an affordable and decent price. Recently, I discovered Butterfly Twists, a cute shop that sells a variety of foldable flats for all occasions. The brand aims to cater for the everyday woman who loves cute and stylish flats, and most of their shoes are foldable so that they can fit straight into your bag. What's not to love?
Butterfly Twists also sells a range of faux leather, suede and leather flats. Now, leather is my favourite material because it's extremely comfortable to wear leather shoes. I love how it bends and adjusts to your feet, and it just makes walking to much more pleasant. I got two gorgeous pairs of black and silver Kate ballet flats from Butterfly Twists and they just arrived. I want to talk about my honest opinion of these flats, as well as show you how I styled them this autumn. Take a look below!
As you can see, the flats are really cute and gorgeous, as they have a lovely geometric design at the front. The shoes are made from a lovely leather, which is soft and durable, and can be waterproof during the rainy months. The shoes are lined with a soft lining, which makes it comfortable to wear without socks. I don't like wearing socks with my flats, so they're perfect in every way.
The design and fit are perfect too. I got a UK size 6 which fits me, though I'm usually a 5.5. The shoes are comfortable and beautiful, and I feel like they'll last me for a while. I really love the colour too- black is classy, elegant and versatile, and silver is jazzy, glamorous and slightly mysterious. What's not to love about these flats?
Lastly, I also got this pair of Chloe Navy ballet flats- my favourite thing about these shoes is that they have a golden bow at the front of the shoe, which means that it stands out in a subtle yet noticeable way. The details on the shoe are amazing- the lining is made from leather and comes in two different shades, and the flats have a light and smooth texture.
