Stylish, Luxurious and Fabulous - Coco Veve Review

Every once in a while, I come across a unique, beautiful and amazing brand that I just have to share with everyone. It's just something about their designs, their styles or their website- but it's rare that I find a brand that truly touches upon what my style stands for. Since it is officially summer and we are all on the lookout for a new wardrobe and new clothes, this is the perfect time to do a little brand featurette. Today, the brand in feature is called Coco Veve, a gorgeous shop that sells lovely women's clothing for all shapes and sizes. 

A bit about the brand- Coco Veve was created by Ria, whose ambition is to create timeless, elegant and chic clothing for women. With a range of dresses, tops and bottoms that can be styled separately or interchangeably, Coco Veve's collection is simply classic and luxurious, and suitable for all occasions. Whether it is a fancy date night with your beau, or a casual get-together with your girlfriends, Coco Veve is guaranteed to have something for you. Ria creates her own prints which are digitally printed on the fabrics, which means that her pieces are super unique and one-of-a-kind!

I'm lucky enough to be able to showcase two of their items for you today. The first item that I want to style is this lovely Rita Wrap Top in White with a tie waist- I was attracted to this piece from Coco Veve's collection because of it's unique design. The top features a gorgeous white wrap neckline, which is flattering for people with broader shoulders like myself as it cuts across a flattering angle. The top also has a white tie waist design, which means that the top actually opens up across the front, allowing you to tie it however you want- tight, loose, it all depends on you! 

As you can see, I styled this lovely Rita top with blue jeans, which contrasts well against the pure, white colour of the top. The design of the top is extremely flattering and cinches at the waist, making you look slimmer and taller in photos. I adore the little blue sleeve details, as it's made from a unique, soft printed material which feels extremely delicate and comfortable. It makes the top look quite special, and I have to say, I just love the colour blue! You can also style this top with their matching Sofia Wide Leg trousers.

As for the quality of the top, Coco Veve makes everything in the UK as they want to produce the highest quality clothing one can get. The result of this ethic is that the top is extremely well made, and has no loose stitchings or anything that may be found on other brands' clothing. I have to say, this top isn't see through at all even though it is white, as it is fully lined and made from a thick, lovely material. It feels almost like crepe, and is light and airy for the summer.

As for the comfort and fit, I got a UK 8 and it fits me perfectly. I'd advise sizing to your size because some of their clothing are made with a relaxed, casual yet tailored fit, though everything is quite flattering and beautifully made. I really love the feeling of wearing this top, as the sleeves are kind of floaty, and looks beautiful in the wind. I wore it to a photo shoot with my friend and got lots of compliments from everybody on the street!

Moving on, I got this lovely Mary H Wrap Dress in Blue- I chose this dress to try out because I thought it looked amazing on their website, and it comes in a lovely baby blue colour which looks refreshing, unique and youthful. In fact, I really wanted a summer wrap dress, as the style is modest yet elegant at the same time, and flatters the waist without exposing too much! Coco Veve's wrap dresses comes in other colors such as Black, Pink and a patterned colour, which you can choose from if you want more variation.

In terms of the design of this wrap dress, I love the tie-waist detail that is quite signature of Coco Veve's range. The fact that there's a built in wrap belt around the dress means that it flatters the waist, and makes an otherwise bulky look more slim and streamlined. This dress covers all your unflattering bits without hiding your best assets, and I certainly enjoyed showing off the legs with this lovely ensemble. The dress opens at the front too, so it's easy to wear and simply looks gorgeous on!

The sleeves are designed in a 3/4 length kimono style, which is reminiscent of the cute Japanese kimonos that I see everywhere. It's super trendy and means that the dress can actually be worn as a top over jeans or leggings, or their matching Sofia Blue wide leg trousers. Overall, the look that this dress gives off is an elegant, chic and sophisticated one. It would be ideal for holidays, casual dinners and a day out shopping, and can virtually be worn for any occasion. That's what I love most about Coco Veve's range- it's versatility and style.

The quality of this dress is again amazing. The dress is really well made and feels really durable without being too thick. It isn't see-through at all, and you can't find a dress like this for the price anywhere else. I love the waist detail and the belt is also quite well-made and cut to fit like a glove. The dress is really form-fitting and made using a structured material, which gives your body a great boost and shape!

Overall, Coco Veve's range is affordable, luxurious and absolutely stunning, and I'll be sure to wear my pieces for years to come. I think Coco Veve's clothing are suitable for women who want to go for a sophisticated, fun and unique look, and their impeccable designs, high quality clothing and gorgeous prints made my day.
