Ever since I was little, I’d always love to
go thrift shopping in vintage shops around London. My favourite area is Brick
Lane and Notting Hill, and the little nooks and crannies around London that
hide the thrift shops and cute clothes. However, I recently discovered the
wonderful world of online vintage shops and Brick Vintage, one of the most
established and best vintage shops that I’ve seen.
A bit about the brand- Brick Vintage
started off by selling vintage clothes, and their brand grew as the owner
started realizing that more and more people wanted to buy cool vintage pieces for
their wardrobes. Now, they have an Etsy shop as well as their own website,
where you can find lots of cool clothing for men and women that include brands
like Ralph Lauren, Burberry and my favourite Levi jeans.
I got two lovely vintage pieces from them
to showcase, and I want to talk about my honest opinions and thoughts. The
first item that I got was this lovely vintage Burberry scarf, which sold for a
relatively affordable price of below 50 GBP. The original costs a lot more, and
it’s cool how Brick Vintage stocks vintage pieces that are in such excellent
condition. The scarf arrived within 1
day of posting, as Brick Vintage does speed delivery for orders, which is
great.
The quality is fantastic- never have I
owned a Burberry scarf before as I’m just a student, and they always sell out
in vintage shops around London. However, this one is excellent and a great
value for money, and it was in perfect condition. The scarf had no bobbles or
bits and was smooth and comfortable, and I think it looks like it’s brand new!
Well done to Brick Vintage for having some of the most gorgeous pieces!
The design and comfort is of course
excellent. I want to mention that Brick Vintage also does some of their own
clothing, which is made from reworked old vintage pieces such as Levi jeans and
shorts. I know that they have a cool range of shorts that are cut from old Levi
jeans, which means that it looks stylish as well as brand new! I love my new
scarf and I can’t believe the quality of their items.
The second thing that I got is this lovely
Levi denim shorts. I have been wanting to own a pair of Levis for a while, but
am never able to find the right fit. They’re always too expensive for me too.
However, Brick Vintage allows me to get the best of both worlds- I can get the
brand without spending a huge amount of money. I can also look stylish without
shopping for the new piece and wasting a huge amount of time in fancy shops
that I’d never go to. I feel totally at home with my new Levi shorts and
they’re perfect for the summer!
As for the quality of this pair of shorts,
again Brick Vintage never fails to amaze and they delivered a perfectly made
pair of shorts. There’s no sign of aging really, and it looks as good as new.
There’s absolutely no smell or anything too, which is great. I love the shorts
and I’d highly recommend checking out their range of items.
Thank you Brick Vintage, and please check
out their lovely shop!
