Hey everyone! I have been a fan of yoga for a while, and I love working out in the gym. Exercise really gives me a sense of wellbeing. However, I'm always a bit self-conscious when I go to the gym. What do I wear? Who's going to watch me? Do I wear makeup or not? Who will laugh at me at the gym?
Anyway. a new, revolutionary app is here to change everything. The app is called Fittever- this app is an innovative app that lets you stream live fitness classes from your phone or iPad, or whatever device you have that lets you download their app. I'm going to talk about my experience for you today. Fittever aims to break down the everyday barriers to exercise, and overcome the lack of time, inconvenience and insecurities.
First, I downloaded the app from the Apple store onto my iPhone. This is a simple and stress-free process, as the app is completely free and quick to download. It won't take up much space on your phone.
I created an account and entered my details, including my credit card and details. This is to enable me to buy fitness classes for a low price. Each class costs around 2-4 GBP, and they depend on what type of class you are interested in. I was able to choose from yoga class, cycling class and cardio workouts, and they have cool video introductions of each instructor and class that is trending. I bought my yoga class with a lovely instructor and got a confirmation in my phone. The class costs 2 pounds, which is super affordable. All I have to do now is wait for the right time and log into the app.
The day finally came, and I eagerly waited for my class. It started at 9:20am in the morning- an awesome time to start the day. When I clicked into the class, the live stream started. The class was delivered clearly and the volume of the sound was pretty good, and I was able to hear the instructor on my phone clearly.
In terms of the class delivery, the instructor asked us to do yoga stretches and I could actually see everyone else who was in the real class. The way it works is that there is an actual studio with a class, and there is a camera at the back of the room. The camera was clear and my internet connection was pretty stable, so I can see everything clearly. I would imagine that you need a good connection in order to view the class, but the overall stream was uninterrupted and I think it's quite easy to stream even if you use 4G.
The angle was great, and I could see the teacher clearly. The students didn't block my camera screen even when they stretched in front of me. I would have liked it if I can adjust the camera more, or if it was more towards the front though, but the overall experience is pretty great!
Overall, this is the first time that I've tried something so innovative and I've never taken a fitness class online. I only tried Youtube workouts, but they weren't live and I didn't feel as motivated as using Fittever made me. It's so different streaming a live workout, and the price is so affordable! I really think that this app can change the world of fitness classes, and I'd highly recommend you give them a try!
