Quintessentially British Fashion - my Samuel Windsor Review

Hey everyone! It's snowing again in England and this means that it's the perfect time to talk about a topic near and dear to my heart- where to buy stylish and affordable warm clothing for guys (and girls)! I've recently been on the hunt for the perfect pair of boots and camel coat and I found it on Samuel Windsor's shop. Samuel Windsor is a beautiful shop that sells men and women's shoes, clothing and apparel. What makes them unique is that they have a beautiful range of clothing and items that are much more affordable than high street shops. 

What I love most about their website is how they list the retail price, and their prices on each product that you can see. For example, I got this lovely Cashmere Camel Coat for around £125 when the retail price is £185, which means that you can save a lot of money by purchasing from Samuel Windsor. All their styles are beautiful and gorgeous- very British, if I can say so myself, and they are simply elegant and suitable for any occasion. 

As you can see, this gorgeous camel coat was the first thing I bought. Samuel Windsor's clothing are all high-quality, and this coat is made from a 90 per cent wool and 10 per cent cashmere blend that will keep you warm, dry and comfortable through the winter months ahead. In terms of the quality, nothing can beat this coat, as it is fully lined in comfortable, blue lining, and has lovely stitching, details and a heavy and comfortable finish. I would say that this coat is one of the best that I've ever seen!

Design-wise, the camel coat is gorgeous. It features two front single-welt pockets and top breast pocket. Practical, fashionable and functional, it will go extremely well with a suit, but just as sharp on a wintry weekend with a cable knit jumper, jeans and boots. Best of all, it is available in four stylish colors- burgundy, camel, navy or grey melange. I chose the camel colour because who can resist a camel coat - it is a beautiful shade of camel, and is not too dark or too light.

In terms of fit, I chose a 40-inch chest so that it fits my boyfriend, but the coat also fits me pretty well. I think that this coat is definitely suitable for women as well as men. I love the fit of the jacket as it isn't too bulky or too boxy. The jacket comes down to the knees, so it looks even more elegant and sophisticated for the winter months.



The second item that I got was a classic pair of Prestige Kensington Boots- these gorgeous shoes features a rubber sole and a real leather upper, which makes the shoes elegant, stylish and suitable for literally any occasion. What impressed me most was the construction of the boots. The Kensington Boots are made by hand using Goodyear Welted construction. Made from the Italian leather uppers, it is effortlessly comfortable and beautiful.

The boots feature a rubber sole, which means that it is completely skid-proof and waterproof. Unlike leather soles, it doesn't take long to wear them in, so it's very good if you want a pair of shoes that you can wear immediately for work or for play. The fit is perfect too- I got an EU 43 and it fits my boyfriend perfectly. He looks so much better in these shoes than in his normal shoes!

Overall, I'm extremely happy with my items from Samuel Windsor. As a reputable brand, Samuel Windsor really met my expectations in terms of quality, design and shipping. I would love to buy another camel coat sometime, and their boots are incredibly comfortable and stylish.
