Street-style Done Well - my haul from Inspected

I'm a lover of street style, and I recently came across Inspected, a unique and edgy brand that sells apparel and accessories that are inspired by contemporary fashion and art. Inspected is very much an exclusive brand- they design limited collections that feature minimal, monochromatic and abstract design inspired by the designers' visits to places like Iceland and Scandinavia. Inspected caught my eye because all of their designs are extremely unique and edgy- they captured my attention with their surreal visuals and naturalistic, black-and-white designs. 

I bought this Nemesis Backpack in Black and the package came today. It was nicely wrapped up in a black bag, and it was very compact, so I didn't expect it's size when I opened it! I was not expecting such a huge backpack to fit into a small bag but you never know with these types of packaging- I'm so surprised! 

Design-wise, it is beautifully thought out because the bag comes in an ultra-chic street-styled look. The whole bag is made from matte black faux leather, which is environmentally friendly and ethical. Faux leather is always more durable than real leather because of it is waterproof and less prone to tearing than the real thing. The shoulder-straps are adjustable and made from thin but strong material, and are padded for extra comfort. The sides feature little pockets which can fit tissues or water bottles, as well as smaller, nitty gritty stuff. I really adore the colors- black leather goes so well with the brass zips and the black metal plating on the front, and the whole bag comes has a timeless, classic colour scheme. 

What's most unique about this bag is the design on the inside. When I opened the backpack, I did not expect the insides to be so unique and bold. The whole bag is lined in a funky, printed black and white pattern, which is one of Inspected's signature prints that features on their t-shirts and apparel. The backpack also contained a laptop area which was softly lined in velvet, and there were inner pockets which would be useful if you had lots of keys, cards and little things to put inside.  Inspected is famous for their street-styled patterns, and I'm very pleased with the lining of this backpack as it gave the backpack a subtle edge - it's what is on the inside that counts! 

Quality-wise, the bag is really well made and stitched up perfecty. I've used so many backpacks in my past, and a lot of them feels flimsy and weak. This Inspected backpack, however, feels completely sturdy and strong. The handle on top is extremely solid and easy to grasp, and the zippers are all made from YKK zips, which is the best quality you can find. The faux leather feels smooth, finely grained and beautiful to touch. I bet this awesome backpack would last for years to come!

With it's decent size (43cm x 32cm x 17cm) this Inspected Nemesis backpack would be able to fit a standard 13-inch laptop as well as books, documents and clothes for everyday use. This backpack is not only stylish but utilitarian, and extremely pleasing to the eye. It is rare to find products that are stylish yet functional at the same time.

Finally, Inspected also sells lovely t-shirts, bottoms, iPhone cases and outerwear, which is definitely worth checking out. I particularly love their Theory Bomber Jacket, which is something I would buy for my boyfriend in the near future. All their items are so minimalistic and simple, but gives off a luxurious, edgy vibe which is incredibly stylish. I'm extremely happy with my purchase from Inspected, and would definitely be buying again!
