Best Ethical Shirts For Men- Tobias Clothing Review

Hey girls and guys! As you all know, I love ethical clothing because they are sustainable, environmentally-friendly and almost always better quality than "fast fashion". Today, I want to show you my recently haul from  Tobias Clothing, a lovely ethical men's shirt brand that sells various cotton and linen shirts with unique, gorgeous and stunning designs!

Founded by Daisy in 2011, Tobias is based on two main principles: to create a shirt that is unique and easy to wear whilst at the same time helping educate India’s underprivileged children. Tobias's shirts all feature unique, Indian-inspired designs which means that they all have special details on the cuff and collar area - a subtle, yet noticeable feature of all of the shop's shirts. All of Tobias's shirts are made from 100% cotton or linen, which means that the shirts will be cool during the hot summer months and keep you warm during the winter weather.

Best of all, 10% of their profits goes directly to the Akanksha Foundation, a charity that supports underprivileged children's education in Mumbai. The Akanksha Foundation has grown from an organisation of student volunteers to a professional institution with over 700 staff, teachers and volunteers with a mission to provide educational opportunities to less privileged children. They reach out to rural children and provide them with much-needed education, which is such a worthy cause!

I am fortunate enough to be able to review 2 of their lovely shirts today. The first shirt that I got was this gorgeous Munnar White Cotton Shirt- this shirt is a light, crisp white cotton shirt that had beautiful ethnic patterns on the collar and the sleeves. The most interesting part about this shirt is the nehru collar, which gives the shirt a relaxed, casual feel. I absolutely adore it as it would suit any guy regardless of his body shape!

This shirt is also really fun to wear, because of the rolled up sleeves and the lovely details along the cuffs and the front. I think this ethical shirt is one of the best that I've ever seen, and the quality is incredible. Everything was stitched really well, and the patterns and designs are impeccable. The sizing was a bit large so I'd recommend everyone to get a size down.

The second shirt that I got was this gorgeous Karnataka White Linen Shirt which is made from 100% linen and feels very soft, luxurious and crisp. The quality of the shirt is amazing- the linen feels very smooth and soft, with the right amount of thickness as linen can sometimes be too thin. This shirt feels very sturdy and beautiful to touch, and the fabric is just so luxurious!

The design of the shirt is the best part, because the collar and cuffs feature a unique, blue pattern which is hand printed using traditional Indian methods. The stitching on the sleeves are also different, giving the shirt an extra layer of detail! Overall, the shirt feels and looks really unique, and it would make a perfect gift idea for any guy out there who wants a casual, yet stylish shirt!

In terms of fit, I chose a Size M after looking at Tobias's measuring chart, and everything fits pretty well. The shirt is not a slim fit, but a casual fit, so it gives off a rather relaxed vibe when you're wearing it. I really think that shirts have to fit well, and Tobias makes sure their shirts are tailored to fit a man's shape without all the extra lumps and fabric that does not flatter the body!

Overall, Tobias is one of the best men's shirt brands that I've come across. Their manufacturing process is entirely sustainable and ethical, and everything is made with precision, quality and detail. I'm extremely pleased with my purchases, and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs shirts for the coming spring or summer!
