I recently purchased this gorgeous polo shirt from British Vintage Boxing, a British heritage sportswear shop that sells sports luxe clothing to a new generation of men. Their clothing is quintessentially British, bold and spirited. Inspired by hard working boxing men of the past, the shop aims to create distinctive sportswear that represents the highs spirits of these working-class heroes, distilling their courage and resilience into a single voice, British Vintage Boxing.
I would describe British Vintage Boxing's style as luxurious, masculine and extremely British. This Sir Henry Cooper Polo Shirt is made from 100% pure pique cotton which hides unflattering shapes and makes the body look toned and fit. This is Henry Cooper's signature polo shirt and has tipping on the collar, placket and cuffs.
The polo shirt represents many British sports including tennis and polo, and was mainly inspired by the 1960’s style icons which creates a cool, sophisticated British look. What I love most about this shirt is it's quality- the polo shirt's material is fine yet durable, and it is extremely flattering on all types of body shapes. The best thing about the quality is that the shirt is made from impeccable stitching and put together beautifully, with all the little details such as the back embroidery being perfectly in place.
Another thing I can't get enough of is the colour and design of the polo shirt. Just look at it! It's white, gorgeous and has black and red stripes along the collar and sleeve hems.
