For girls out there who want to take care of your health, I've thought of some tips that can help you live a healthier life. For me, I've always struggled with being healthy since I had problems in the past. Now, I'm trying to become a better, healthier person by learning how to take care of myself.
1) Eat well- I've struggled with this and am always trying to incorporate more vegetables and fruits into my diet. Less meat, less carbs and more vegetables is the way to go! Girls often have iron deficiency and blood problems as we lose a lot of blood over the course of the month, so it's extra important for women to take better care of their health.
2) Take care of your hair- I love these new hair straightening brush which allows you to get smooth, luxurious locks without any effort. However, it's also important to learn to use the right shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. I've struggled a lot with losing hair in the past when I've been stressed, upset or unhealthy. I love using the Mane n Tail shampoo which makes my hair grow thicker!
3) If you're pregnant, make sure you're taking vitamins (visit their website here) - it's important to get prenatal vitamins which can help your baby grow up better and stronger. If you're not pregnant, make sure you stay safe at all times and take care of yourself!
4) Sleep earlier - for me, I've always had insomnia but recently I've been trying to sleep at around 12am. This is a good time as it is not too early but not too late. It also allows me to get a decent 8 hours of sleep per night. It's so important to get comfortable pillows and blankets, so that you don't have to toss and turn all night in vain!
5) Smile! Surround yourself with people that make you happy. I've learned over the years that some friends just aren't worth keeping. Keep the negative people out of your life, and bring in the positive ones that can help you grow. I know for a fact that having a supportive relationship really helps in this aspect.
