I've Done It Again! My Riva Fashion Tryout!

Yes, I've done it again- I went on a giant haul from one of my favourite boutique shops Riva Fashion. I previously did a giant feature on Riva Fashion, but for those of you new to the blog, they're a lovely brand that sells the most quirky and unusual statement pieces ever. Most of their items aren't strange but they're all designed with a unique take, and made with unique mixed materials. I just love how Riva Fashion has lots of new collections every season, so I'm always looking for new things on their site. 

I bought 3 new items from their "Young n Trendy" collection, which has a more relaxed and casual vibe than their other items. I got these because it was on the model on the site, and I thought it matched my style really well. Here's my review of every item that I got! 

1) Color block jeans- the first thing I got was this lovely pair of colour block jeans. They're so unique because they're made from velvet at the back, and the front has a lovely blue washed colour, It's also high-waisted, so it flatters the body by cinching at the waist. Literally, they're the comfiest pair of jeans I've ever worn since they're soft, warm and huggable. It also makes my legs look extra long. I rolled it up because I wanted a cool mom-jeans look and it works well with boots or slip-on shoes!

2) Sequins Pullover- this gorgeous pullover is fully studded and embellished. This makes it the most luxurious sweater that I've ever owned. I love the subtle pattern on the sweater, as it's quite sparkling, yet it's quite subdue at the same time. The texture is really nice - the sweater is made from cotton which is heavy but durable and good quality. It's sort of a statement piece without it being too overt and in your face! 

3) Studded Slip On shoes- these were the last items that I got for the whole look. I love the studded details and the contrast between the blacks and the silver balls on the shoes. I also like how they can be slip-on shoes as well as mules, as the back has a flexible strip of cloth which can be stepped on. It was a bit big on me though, so I'd recommend getting the smaller size if you're between sizes. The shoes are of excellent quality and fit, and I'm so happy!
