How To Stay Warm and look Chic- We Are Rushworth Review

The cold winter is nearly here in the UK, and I'm really excited to share with you my latest winter haul. I got lots of fine knits and scarves from We Are Rushworth, a lovely luxurious clothing brand originating from Scotland. They specialise in providing high-quality and beautiful knitted clothing and accessories to both men and women. What's special about We Are Rushworth is that everything made by them is extremely high in quality. They make most of their items using 100% fine Italian wool, lambs wool or cashmere, which means that it's perfect for the cold, dreary winter. 

I have been wanting some warm items for a while now- I'm tired of the sweaters that I own which are made from polyester or acrylic, as these fabrics aren't warm at all. We Are Rushworth manufactures everything using extremely detailed precision and attention to detail, and everything is cold-proof and fabulous! 

Here's a detailed review of my giant haul from their Etsy shop! 

1) Ladies soft Merino jumper dress-  I was initially attracted to this dress because it could be work either as a dress or as a long top. It would look great when paired with leggings or long pants, but I paired it with a pair of high boots which shows off the legs. I love this merino dress- it's just the right amount of thickness and it's made from a lovely, soft material. The best thing about this dress is that it can be worn inside a giant coat and looks super stylish and chic as a little dress which keeps you extremely warm! This item is definitely a 10/10 in terms of design and style, and fits just perfectly!

2) Men's Khaki Zipped Jacket- this is a men's jacket but I'm sure girls can wear it too. I just styled it over my merino wool dress as a slouchy, oversized piece which gives it a cool vibe. I love the quality- the jumper is soft, not heavy and perfectly made. The khaki colour is also super cool, and matches with pretty much anything in a man's wardrobe. Everything's stitched on perfectly and there's not a single loose thread. It would be lovely for men of all ages, and would make an excellent present for your father, brother or husband. Even the zips on the jacket are made using extra good-quality metal! 

3) Soft Camel Lambswool Scarf- ah, the good old camel scarf. Who can do without it? We Are Rushworth's camel scarf is simply a wardrobe statement for any girl or guy who wants something that is versatile, soft and warm. I have to say, this is my favourite scarf out of my wardrobe. It goes well with anything, and has a thick, chunky knitting pattern which gives everything additional levels of texture. The knitting itself is super fine and delicate, but the scarf is extremely warm. I'm pretty sure I can get through the winter with this scarf alone!

4) Soft Grey Merino wool striped scarf- what I love about We Are Rushworth is that they have unisex items, and this scarf is no exception. With it's unique, gorgeous striped pattern, this Merino Wool scarf can be worn by both men and women, giving any outfit a new, stylish vibe. I paired it with my grey coat and boots, and the Merino Wool dress that I also bought. The material is extremely soft, as merino wool is the finest wool you can ever get. It's also one of the warmest, and when I wore it out to the dreadful UK weather, I felt like I was protected from the breezes. Another excellent choice!

Overall, I'm so happy with my items from We Are Rushworth. They are really the best shop out there if you're after Scottish knits and scarves, and you can't go wrong with a decent, affordable scarf or jacket to prepare yourself for this cold, cold winter.
