The first bag I got was the lovely Madison backpack- this is a beautiful, compact unisex backpack for both men and women who are on the go. It has a 13-inch laptop compartment in the middle, which means that it's pretty perfect for work and travelling, if you're into a smaller type of bag. Not to get me wrong, the bag is super roomy on the inside and can fit plenty of items like a water bottle, clothes, wallets and books. It's made from lovely recycled materials on the outside, and the inside is lined with smooth, crisp nylon.
Everything about this bag is perfect- it is made in Washington, so it is extremely high quality and feels really indestructible! I can go out in the rain or the snow and it still won't get wet or damaged. I'm pretty sure that this is one of the strongest backpacks I've ever seen! In terms of the design, I love the shape of this backpack. It looks really stylish and unique, and is such an fashion statement!
The second backpack I got was the amazing Brooklyn Backpacked in Waxed Canvas- this was the first bag that caught my eye since it looked really unique and cool. The waxed canvas fabric on the outside is super durable, tough and smooth, and looks like something you'd find in a high-fashion magazine. The bag itself is extremely roomy and large- it would fit a 15 inch laptop as well as plenty of books and folders. Best of all, the design is sleek so it's not too puffy and bulky. It's something I'd say fits a well-groomed or stylish man, or even a cool, edgy girl who loves to travel around and carry everything conveniently in a backpack!
The base of the backpack is made from the recycled bicycle tubes, which gives it an awesome finishing touch. I thought that it looked like leather - the best thing about using bicycle tubes is that it does look and feel like leather, but it's probably less fragile and much more durable, not to mention eco-friendly!
Overall, I'd highly recommend checking out Alchemy Goods. They're an innovative, green and sustainable brand, and using bicycle tubes to make bags is something that I've never heard of until now!
