Have you ever heard of a convertible backpack? I haven't, but I recently discovered Christopher Kon, a luxurious boutique selling genuine leather handbags and accessories that look and feel super unique. I've been wanting a leather backpack for a while now because I'm tired of carrying cross-body bags to university- they're a pain to walk around in.
A bit about Christopher Kon- based in Montreal, the brand sells bags that are inspired by nature and architecture. Each product is made with creative aesthetic, making each bag unique and alluring to look. Best of all, they are high-quality and luxurious, and stocks up in boutiques across North America. I was lucky enough to be able to review one of their signature La Dos Convertible Backpacks - which can be converted from a backpack to a cross-body bag or even handheld as a briefcase.
I got the backpack and it was beautiful wrapped in a light paper bag and crepe paper. The backpack was really the perfect size- small, but not too tiny; wide but not bulky and heavy. It was also extremely soft to touch- the leather from Christopher Kon's range seems to be extremely high-quality, and it felt so smooth and warm (yes, that's right) to touch. It's almost like I was touching a buttery surface!
Designs-wise, the bag is so beautiful and meticulously crafted. Every little detail shines and can be seen even from afar. The inner lining of the bag is made from a deep red suede material, which is super smooth and soft to touch. The outer lining is made from a smooth buttery leather, which literally feels so good when you're carrying it. I chose to pair this bag with a leather skirt and a tank top, since it would match a more professional environment, say if you're going to work.
However, the best thing about this bag is it's versatility. It also suits casual occasions, say if you're going out with the girls or your boyfriend for a night out. I've just shown you two ways to wear this bag, but I'm sure there are hundreds more ways. It's also available in Black.
Overall, I'm so happy with both the quality and design of this Christopher Kon convertible backpack. I've never heard of convertible backpacks before, but once I got this bag, there's really no going back. I use it everyday and get lots of comments asking where I got it from!
Don't forget- Christopher Kon offers FREE shipping in the US and Canada on orders above $100!
