My exams are FINALLY over and I'm feeling oh-so-blissful! It's like that feeling when you've tried your best (sort of, I wouldn't say I was perfect) and everything's over in a flash. I'm definitely not missing the library, but I'm feeling a little sad at graduating this year.
Nonetheless, one of the best things about studying in the UK is the budget online shops. Online shopping is a HUGE thing here, and you can get unbelievable clothing for the cheapest price ever. In fact, there's something called "ex cond" or "ex brand" shops which are super popular in the UK. One of these shops is Everything5pounds.com , where everything is 5 pounds and they have ex-branded, ex-high street items. This means that when the high street brand has leftover stock or need to get rid of their items, it goes to these shops.
I got 4 items from their shop for a total of 20 pounds. Yes, it's only 20! The first thing I got was a denim trench coat because it looked really nice on the site. It turned out to be from a brand called 'Cherry Paris' which sells suede jackets to Forever21 and beyond. So I actually got a Forever21 jacket for 5 pounds! It looks beautiful on, kind of country chic and it fits perfectly!
Next I got a pair of white cropped jeans. They are 100% cotton and super soft, and probably sells at 3-4 times the price. It's quite loose but I had to size it down. It pairs well with nude coloured tops. I'm happy with this pair of trousers, although I have plenty of white trousers already!
Next I got something a bit interesting - a striped dress. It's super cute and good quality, and comes from a brand called Jaune Rouge, which is a Parisian fashion brand. The quality is fantastic, and it's super cute, though I wish it's a bit wider at the shoulders. But the material and colour is super cute! I'm going to pretend to be a French girl now!
Lastly, I got a pink turtleneck dress. This was a bit of a gamble as I don't usually wear jumper dresses as they are always too thin. This one was unbranded, but it was quite good quality and for the price, it's really nice. It's a bit different from the photos though, but I'm still pleased with it. It will look nice with a grey longline trench or cardigan!
Overall, I have to say i'm addicted to shopping with Everything5pounds. I've bought things from them ever since I came to the UK many years ago, so just when I started this blog. It's been a pleasure browsing from their site since everything's so cheap, and their site is really pretty.
