Got some new lenses from Pinkicon last month, and I've been waiting to wear them for ages now. Yesterday I went clubbing with my friends from university, and they're SO awesome. We had such a fun night dancing and having fun, something which I haven't done in a while now.
I wore my brown one-day lenses from the Select range, which is a range selling one day coloured lenses. I've never tried it before, so this is my honest review of these lenses.
Design (5/5): the colour and design of these lenses are excellent. The brown colour is so natural, and no one can tell I've put on lenses which is always my aim. I don't like people commenting on how fake it is. I got compliments saying I looked extra good tonight, which is a plus. I'm also happy with the slight enlarging effect of these lenses- they're not too exaggerated, but just about right!
Comfort (3/5) : they're quite comfortable- and they're meant to last for at least 7-8 hours at night. I wore mine at around 10pm and went home at 2am, and it was already feeling a bit dry. They didn't last as long as I hoped, but they're generally comfortable in the first 3-4 hours of wear. I think maybe I'm extra sensitive, but compared to other lenses, they're a bit more dry.
Would I buy again? Maybe- if I have some special occasions and want to look extra good, I'd definitely go for them. However, I feel like the normal coloured contact lenses are more comfortable, especially since they don't go dry as fast as these. I'm not sure- this is my first time trying out one-day coloured lenses.
What do you think?
