Warning- this post is super cute and Japanese-y! I'm totally in love with my new Stars and Moons lolita blouse from Spreepicky- one of my favourite Japanese/ cutesy stores. The shop is one of the largest and most popular Japanese fashion shops online, and I've seen it everywhere in the past few years since they're growing and growing. They're popular for a reason- they sell EVERYTHING you can think of relating to fashion, accessories, hosiery, stockings, gloves, earrings and more. I can't think of anything they don't have - they even have silly cat ears and cute Lolita outfits, and I love their sailor and cat costumes.
My Stars and Moon Lolita blouse finally arrived after around 2 weeks after I ordered it from their site (which is super easy to use). It was shipped from the Netherlands, which meant that it shipped reasonably fast. It arrived in a nice package and was wrapped well.
As to the quality- when I opened it, I was surprised at the high quality of the blouse. It was thick, kind of stretchy and really high quality. It was well-made and sewn well, and the stars and moons on the collar is so pretty. I'm impressed, as I thought it would be much thinner in the photos on the website. The lesson for you is that you may expect that photos don't match up to the actual product!
As to the design- I love the ruffle details at the sleeves and the hems- it makes it look cute and fitting. I also like the blouse since it's not too Lolita-like but will go well with a white skirt or a pair of cute shorts. I actually like the dark colour of the blouse since it goes well with lighter bottoms, although I sometimes wished I got the white blouse instead. I love the ruffle collar best- it stands out and is large enough to look cute and Japanese-like. I loved collar shirts- they're so sweet and pretty.
Hope you like this detailed showcase of my new top! I've taken some photos and styled it with my white skirt and boots, and took some photos to show the details of the blouse. As you can see, the blouse is really detailed- and it doesn't cost a lot, so it's definitely affordable.
Check out Spreepicky on WeThrift and let me know if you buy anything! They're awesome!
