Life and Rants - Winter Edition 2016

It's freezing cold here in the UK, with the weather being sporadic, unpredictable and very, very cold. It was -2C this morning, and even colder when there are days of rain. It's been a while since I've posted about a life outside of fashion and reviews of dresses (which I've been doing a lot lately because let's face it, I'm addicted to shopping) so I thought I'd post some life photos for all of you.

As you know, I'm in my final year of university now so things are getting stressful. I don't go out to parties or dinners anymore, and I prefer to stay inside my cozy room and just chill. Do you guys like chilling? I swear that I'm an extrovert at heart, but these days all I do is be alone and live in my hermitage. It's sort of nice, in a way.

I've also been thinking a lot about life lately… in particular about the future. Where are things heading? For example, Brexit has made such a difference in the economy and has led to a falling pound. Now that Trump's the president, it seems to be going crazy out there. There's a huge sense of dissatisfaction in society, no doubt about that.

As for me, I've applied to several masters courses and hopefully I'll make the offer (finger's crossed). I hope they give me a lenient offer, because my grades were really mediocre last year. I was actually a bit upset. I'm going to work harder this year. As for my personal life, I've been in a long-distance relationship for some time, so it's quite a challenge. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy, but it's hard without the physical person especially when I got really sick and no one was there for me. It's tough, though I did get some flowers (mwah) from the other side of the world on my birthday!
