Bornpretty store: Watch Review

I went to Brighton during this dreary Easter break (more on this exciting trip in my next post!) so it was not surprising that I felt knackered after a 3 hour long train journey and walk back to university. I decided to check my mail box on the way to my room, and was pleasantly surprised to find that THIS little gift finally arrived! Exciting stuff, isn't it, these fashionable product reviews?

Bornpretty has a range of watches that are great for accessorising. My favourites are the LED watch and the bracelet watch, which are girly and chic to wear and style. I'm lucky enough to be able to review one of their signature bracelet watches for you, just so that I can try it out before you guys think about buying something from the store. Around 3 weeks after I ordered my chosen product, I finally received a lovely gift box in the mail that was beautifully wrapped. Take a look at it below!

I can't say how lovely this watch looks in real life. You know how things usually look better either in photos or in person (just like how girls look different in photos on Facebook)? Well, this watch looks even better in real life because it is quite delicate and stylish at the same time. The straps are made from leather and nylon, and interwoven with tiny golden chains. The watch itself is orange and gold, though you can choose from a range of colours available. It looks very vintage indeed, and it was quite lightweight and small without being hard to read the time off. 

The back of the watch had two pieces of string that is adjustable, so it fits a wide range of sizes. One thing that was a big unusual was that the watch was slightly loose, just slightly. I can move it around, but maybe that's just me being small-wristed. Girls with bigger wrists would definitely fit better than me for this particular style. Other watches in the store are different, and I'm pretty sure they will clasp better. I also liked the fact that there's a delicate golden rose attached to the 2nd strap. It's really special because not many watches look so feminine and vintage at the same time! 

Overall, I'm very pleased with the watch's quality and size, as well as it's colours and style. It was much more durable and stronger than I expected a small watch to be. Also, the little details on the watch and the straps makes it extra unique. It goes very well with clothing of any colour too. Personally, I rarely wear watches because I check my phone for the time (such a lazy modern woman) but I've always wanted to pick up the good habit of wearing a watch to tell the time. I'll be sure to wear this watch during the upcoming summer months!
