Weddings & Red

A few weeks ago I went to a wedding - thought it's about time I posted something on that ! The theme was "Red and Pink" as the bride and groom (cousins) wanted a really modern wedding... They even had adorable cartoon drawings of the two of them plastered right in front of the room!

I loved the decorations - beautiful tables, lights and the stage was so well-lit. We all got soapbox presents and had lots of great food. I also got to know long-lost relatives and met my cousin, who's old enough to be my aunt! She had an adorable little kid.

It makes me wonder - what types of weddings would you want for your special day ? A simple ceremony, or a grand large one ? My favourite bloggers and Youtubers, like Bubzbeauty and the very bold Xiaxue (her blog's just outright hilarious sometimes) all got married / are getting married... everyone's tying the knot!

I'm going to do a little sponsored post soon about a special Florida-themed wedding with some lovely pictures so you can see another wedding style, unlike this Chinese / modern asian ceremony. A lot of marriages I know end up either being really great or not working out ... perhaps it takes compromising and a really great change once someone decides to get married.  I know at age 19 it isn't something I want to do for now (too early, maybe after I get a job and graduated from university) but still, it's quite touching to see all those people getting married and settling down... awwww.

Lots of work to do this weekend - it's Saturday morning but I'm feeling lazy. I'm exhausted from working all week ! Some tracks to kickstart Saturdays...
