Hey all! So in my last post, I mentioned I'm in the hunt for an oversized, chunky knit sweater. Since I've last blogged, I've been on a fierce and intense hunting expedition ... to hunt in cyberspace (yes, not in my real life terrain due to, um, time constraints) for an affordable, cheap sweater that is warm and comfy. After many feverish days, I finally managed to snag an awesome cable knit pullover from a bargain shop online for 5 pounds, and it turned out fantastic and brilliant. In fact, I styled an outfit just for this pullover, which is becoming my fast favourite now and just totally perfect for the upcoming (snowy?) winter months! Take a look below...

In fact, the necklace is something I won from Sian's Matalan giveaway a month or two ago, so thank you Sian for the awesome necklace that matched well with yellow. Speaking of colors and yellow, how come I rarely see people wearing yellow outside ? It's all black, whites and grays, dull, boring and safe colors. I mean, I love black and whites, they are classy, but it's colors like YELLOW and BRIGHT PINK that catches people's attention, in a sea of people, who can stand out ? Black's so formal and serious to me, and it is a safe color. Anything looks good in black and white, but it takes someone who dares to be a little different to wear an unconventional color - yellow. 

Yellow, the color of autumn leaves, mustard, aquarium snails, custard, perfectly chilled banana smoothies and sweet dried mangoes. Yellow, the colour of envy, jealousy and acid, the color of the sun which gives life to everything on Earth and also the color tinted on moonlight on a cool winter's eve. 

In fact, some skin types are yellow too, perfectly fine and natural :D

It's awards time! I've been given 2 awards recently, the first the Tell me About Yourself Award from fellow Hong Konger Nicole ! The second award is the Kreativ Blogger Award from Joanna!

The rules for both awards are to tell 7 things about yourself, so here goes them all in one go:

1) I used to wear braces but had them off last year. Thank goodness, because they were painful!
2) My dog's quite weak in the heart, he gets tired easily ):
3) I get homesick easily, and it hits in bouts!
4) I love sweet foods - too much! Dried fruits are my weakness...
5) I used to drink coffee a lot, nowadays I'm more of a tea-person!
6) Apart from photography, I also love to draw by hand in a sketchbook! 
7) My room gets really messy, and I don't tidy it until it gets REALLY bad and I just can't stand it anymore! Right now, you're probably wondering what it looks like... well, it's getting to the point where I just need to get started on cleaning NOW! 

8) I love stationary with patterns, and I own a flowery stapler that's pretty cool! 

9) Speaking of stationary, I own several notebooks that are "too pretty to write in" - you know, when you just can't bear to write in it because the pages are colored, printed on glossy paper with delicate drawings of really detailed things ? 

10) I prefer to wear flats than heels, because the heels hurt my toes...

11) Winter is my favourite season of the year, because it's cold enough to wear sweaters and leggings. 

12) I get tanned really easily, just a few moments in the sun and my skin changes tone completely for weeks! 

13) I love eggs! Scrambled, boiled, poached... mmm, especially the yolk. 

14) My phone's case keeps breaking constantly, because the keys in my bag keep scratching the surface. Ouch.

So that's all from me my dear readers, it's half-term break now and I shall have more time to blog this week.
