I wished I lived in the golden age
Giving it up on the broadway stage
Hang with the rats and smoke cigars
Just have a break with Frank and count the stars

First post in the land of all things British - London. Jetl-lagged, tired, moving into a room, hauling luggage up and down, running to the supermarket, getting used to a new currency, general ADJUSTMENT OF SELF to suit life here .... I won't bore you with words, here are some pictures taken during my first week.
London Eye, Street with magical lights, flag, funky car, KEEP CALM, portobello market with gorgeous antiques
***
Exhausted today, walked for 2 hours non stop up and down the portobello market hunting for cheap goods. Didn't find any, but saw some gorgeous gorgeous faux fur coats that I couldn't afford, and some awesome ancient jewelry... there was also a necklace with a lamb pendant which was interesting. Now I'm back in my room and feeling really sleepy.
Didn't get to do as much as I wanted to this week, but tomorrow's Sunday, but here in London, it will probably be Rainday instead. What they say in books are true, London rains a lot. Not big rains that last one day then stops forever, but little drizzles that vary in length and size, and comes at the MOST unexpected time. The only thing I bought today was an umbrella at the one pound store but it broke immediately!
***
Snapped a picture of myself against my new mirror table, and found it rather scary. Eerie, silence of the lamb-esque. Moths don't scare me!
Also, I've decided to grow out my front bangs and do a side sweep instead! So i'm going to change my hairstyle starting this September... and see how it goes! Took some pictures of hair and it's newfound curliness and bangs. How? I hear you ask - after tying my hair up it becomes kinda curly when I let it down!
wavy hair !!

I'm on my way, gonna make it big
Gonna make these songs for the chicks to dig
It's really hot and a little bit sour
We're getting your strength to the maximum power
Song of the week in UK :
