Black and White Fedora Hat - Knitted (Thrifted)

This afternoon, I tried on an old fedora hat that hasn't been worn in a year. It fitted quite well, and I love it's classic color. It's also made out of fabric so it's heavy, durable and feels super soft and fluffy ! Sorry for not posting for a week, I haven't got a good batch of photos recently and today's photo session was a spur-of-the-moment surprise ! 

I'm glad you guys enjoyed my little "Cinemagraph" introduction ! I always marvel at how one can find beautiful and strange pictures on Tumblr. On usual days, most pictures in my dashboard are fan made GIFs or odd pictures of people doing strange things ... nevertheless Tumblr is a good way to kill time. I never knew what those awesome moving pictures were called too, till I researched it in depth.

Two stranded braid - both sides

The hairstyle I wore today was a "two stranded twist", done in both sides with hair in the middle parted. It's essentially a braid but with only two strands, twisted round and round. I usually do this when I'm too lazy to braid, or when I'm bored out of my mind. For this instance, it was because I was watching a movie and had nothing to do with my hands! Also, my hair's layered, so it became a bit puffy on the top, as you can see in the photos! 

Finally, some vintage photos to give my little collection of selcas a "country" feel ...

What do you think of pairing hats with braids ? I feel like a country girl living in the 60s, even though people back then probably never wore this type of hat .... Let me know! And thank you for 200 followers, you guys are awesome.
