What I wore to prom: New Look Black one-shoulder rosette dress, strappy 3-inch heels

It wasn't really my prom, but my high school friends are graduating and I was just a guest. Still, I bought a dress just for the occasion because it's still the last time I will see these people again for quite a while! The dress is quite short, at first I had doubts about wearing it since everyone's going to be in long night gowns, but I pulled up the courage to wear it in the end. The evening turned out to be fun, and although it was a little awkward at first, I met many long-lost friends again, which was nice.

This "prom" was different. It wasn't my prom - it was their prom, my old school's prom, of whom I'm just a guest. It seems really strange, to see everyone looking better, older and all made up for this night, while I'm pretty anonymous and on the sidelines, sticking with my closest friends and few acquaintances only. 

I changed schools 3 times in the past 5 years. You know how you read about the kids whose parents move houses all the time, and they have to adapt to moving schools, environment and losing friends all the time, and feeling they don't fit in. That's a bit like me... except I never strayed away from my home town of Hong Kong ... YET. 

The night was fun, but due to a lack of cameras, I only had my phone with me. Sorry for the quality of the photos, although personally, I'm a big fan of mobile pictures because you can adjust the angle of the shot to your pleasing. And they are blurry with an ARTISTIC TWIST!
