Goodbye, Supergirl


Facial expressions of the day: Tongue n' Cheek, finger-on-nose, RAWR kitty

I sported this hairstyle for the past few days, going out for shoe shopping (didn't have my size, what a pity!) and spending time with the family. It's just an easy, quick and simple low side ponytail, tied with a super tight mini hairband, then twisted and the strands tucked back into the band....I like how it makes you look automatically younger if you tie your hair up, you know that feeling ? 

I always get mistaken for my age. Sometimes when I'm in a posh restaurant with the parents, they will serve me wine and give me a glass. Then awkward silence ensues as we all tell the waiter, apologetically, that I'm not of age and he/she looks embarrassed as they take away the glass on their fancy tray.

Then again, when you dress in colorful/ patterned clothes (which I am particularly fond of, especially with cute patterns!) and tie up your hair, you can look YEARS younger! Shop keepers will deem you with the title "Ah Mui" when you visit their shops, which means "young girl" in Chinese. And I no longer get wine glasses put next to me when I'm eating out. Hmph.

Those black glasses are my favorite now. I have a small face and head, which isn't something I'm particularly proud of, but the glasses fit my face shape well. Speaking of which, can you guys tell the difference between Korean, Chinese and Japanese people ? Many people mistake me for Japanese instead of Chinese ...

    I live with my brother, so I hang out with him very often. And for my hair, I just wash it once every two days. I don't do any treatments here, except when I go back to my hometown which happen every half a year x(
    Same case happened to me, many people say I'm a Korea and even Korean themselves speak Korean to me. Sometimes I can see the difference by looking at their face. But funny illustration hehehe
    I'm curious about ur age, you really look young! :)

    well as you probably know, my hair used to be blonde. and then i dyed it a chocolatey brown.
    then it faded into the brown i have now. so i dunno D: sorta like ice coffee brown

    honestly, dunno that you can really tell the difference between different Asian races. there are always exceptions or people like me who are mixed Asian ethnicities.
