Super Cute Plushie Owl

I was feeling really creative on Saturday night, so I made myself a hand-sewn plushie owl creature. I don't have a sewing machine, so it took a few hours to make. It's quite petite, it is around the size of my palms, and I think it would make a good gift for a loved one.

I'm pretty pleased with the result, for my first time, I think it isn't too bad an attempt. It's really nice to release my creative energy in art, especially after stressful and tough times studying and trying to cope with life in general. All you need to make one of these babies are...


Scissors, Needle, Cloth and Thread 

I am an artistic person and have been my whole life. I remember drawing little pieces of artwork for my mom when I was young... the people always turned out with really big heads and stick-like bodies. I also did try making stuffed plushies before, but I always got the color or cloth combination wrong! 

Missing my childhood... reminiscing the good old days when there was no work and all play.

Finally, I also got listed on the Top 19 Teen Bloggers website ! I'm chuffed, check their site out HERE and wow, I'm really happy and surprised about this!


Stay tuned my lovelies, I'll post an outfit post soon because I went shopping today. On a side note, a person from Hong Kong is called a Hong Konger. And don't forget to tell me what you think of the owl - does it even LOOK like an owl to you ? (shhhh...a certain someone said it looked more like a starfish ... :o )

    this is so cute! i remember sewing random square pillows when i was a child, it was fun. but my tiny pillows served no purpose because they were so small.hahah :)!
