What's Good about Japanese Skincare? Hada Lobo review

Have you ever wanted to use Japanese skincare products, but didn't know where you could find some? With all the chemicals and artificial ingredients that go into products these days, it's natural to want to choose something a bit healthier for your skin. I want to introduce a beautiful range of products from Hada Lobo a skincare brand from Japan that sells totally gorgeous skincare products. 

A bit about the brand- Hada Lobo obtained cult status as one of the best Japanese skincare brands for women and men. HADA LABO—which is translated as “Skin Lab”—is a technologically advanced Japanese skin care line researched and developed at the Rohto research facility in Japan. It is the result of more than 100 years of product development and the continued research efforts of Rohto Pharmaceutical Company, Ltd., a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical products and cosmetics.

I was lucky enough to be able to review a few products that was sent to me. Take a look at my photos below, and I'll write my honest opinion on each item below and why they'd make great gifts for your loved ones. 

I love the two Hada Lobo suncreams that I got because they're oh so lightweight and perfect for the winter sun. I usually don't like wearing sunscreen on my face as they are always heavy and oily. These Japanese sunscreen are the opposite- light, matte and thin. It just glides on my face! They're absolutely a pleasure to wear and I cannot recommend them enough! The best thing about them is that they're water-resistant moisturising sunscreen lotions with SPF50. Developed in Japanese laboratories, this product is definitely superior to other sunscreens you can find on the high street.

I also got to try the brand's deep wrinkle filler cream and special repair night cream, which were both super moisturising and light. Containing 4 types of hyaluronic acid, the night cream deeply moisturises, refreshes and smoothes the skin. It helps reduce signs of ageing, firms and may improve the skin's elasticity. I love the lotion's texture and smell- it is so light and refreshing! As for the wrinkle filler cream, I definitely noticed a slight improvement after a few days of use. 

I also tried the brand's Wrinkle Corrector Eye and mouth area cream, which is specifically formulated to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines. Ingredients include 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen and Retinol which firm the skin and help rebuild its structure. I definitely think that the brand offers affordable anti-ageing products that are catered towards the general population, as their pricing is really reasonable. You can buy this for 11 pounds at Superdrug! It is extremely easy to apply, plus works well on my eyes. 

Finally, I tried some of the brand's anti-ageing facial sheet masks, which were gorgeous and smelled lovely. Usually masks are difficult to apply, but these face masks were super easy to put on! In fact, my face felt very moisturised after using them and I noticed that they brightened up my complexion. Overall, Hada Lobo really impressed me with their range of affordable and accessible products. I do recommend checking them out!
